Small Friendly Charnwood Borough Council Licenced Riding School Approved by Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA,) Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS,) Pony Club Centre and Leicestershire Equestrian Enterprise Partnership (LEEP.) Providing Horse Riding lessons for all ages and abillities (From 4 years old upwards.)All adults and childrens lessons are kept separate. For the nore advanced rider we hack over parts of the National Forest and local country parks including Beacon Hill, Broombriggs, Swithland Wood and Bradgate Park. A full Holiday programme available during school holidays catering for all ages for one or two hours to full days. We specialise in teaching riders with special needs and disabilities, all instructors are fully trained enhanced CRB checked and qualified to teach. The Riding School is fully accessable for disabled with hoist,ramps and mounting platforms.All lessons take place inside (in the indoor areana) or outside (in the menege)weather permitting. How to find us: From Loughborough take Woodhouse Lane from the Priory pub towards the OutWoods after approx. 1 mile turn right onto Deans lane. 5/10's of a mile (drive past) Blackbirds nest up hill after the two gates on your right (2nd gate marked by a sign saying Thornes'Covert) take the next gate way on your right (New gateway with post & rail fecing each side) before reaching the Beacon Cottage Farm entrance turn down gravel drive accross side of the field keeping the post & rail fence on your right and the white electric fence on your left. You will find the car park at the end of the drive.
