Indian engineering firm to open new sales office in Loughborough

Jaivel, the Indian product design, engineering and manufacturing company, is set to open a sales and marketing office in Loughborough.

The firm has been looking to set up a European base for some time as it has a number of European clients. The move will allow Jaivel to work in the same time zone as these customers, while maintaining an Indian manufacturing facility. In its first year of operations, Jaivel plans to recruit a team of four people in design engineering roles.

Vipul Vachhani, Jaivel’s Managing Director, came to the county and visited the innovation centres at De Montfort and Loughborough universities. He said: “Both innovation centres had much to offer firms such as Jaivel. We have decided to base our office in Loughborough as the university seems to have a stronger engineering base and excellent collaborations between researchers and industry.”
