Train to Gain is a new service run by the LSC (Learning and Skills Council). The service offers impartial advice, matches training needs with training providers and ensures that training and support is delivered to meet those needs. It is a free service, provided through a network of specialist skills brokers, who will assess your training needs as well as offering independent advice on a wide range of training and business development needs.

Learn 2 Earn is a scheme to help adults who are on Incapacity Benefit into learning and work. L2E is a partnership between the Breaking the Barriers Employment Service and Leicestershire Adult Learning Service. You are elegible for FREE help if you live in Leicestershire, and if you are receiving Incapacity Benefit, Income Support / National Insurance Credits (because of incapacity) or Severe Disablement Allowance.
New Deal is a key element of the Government's Welfare to Work strategy. New Deal gives unemployed people opportunities to study, train and gain work experience so that they have the skills employers want.
