  • Learning & Skills Council

    Leicestershire Learning and Skills Council has produced a guide aimed at employers to help choose the most suitable training provider for your business and workforce needs. It provides you with questions to ask and things to consider when looking for training provision. There is a search facility to help you find providers who offer courses on a subject of your choice.

  • Leicestershire and Leicester City Learning Partnership (LLCLP)

    Learning Partnerships were set up in 1999 across the country as a government initiative. They are voluntary associations of organisations involved in learning post 16. Their work is complementary to the local Learning and Skills Councils (LSC). The Learning Partnership provides an independent and neutral focus to develop collaborative activity to benefit learners and potential learners. For employers they are an important source of information about work based training, apprenticeship schemes and local training providers.

  • LANTERN - Leicestershire Learning and Training Providers Network

    LANTERN is a support network for any provider organisation that is a current party in any Work-Based Learning contract placed by the Leicestershire Learning and Skills Council regardless of the geographical location of the provider's premises.

    Now with offices in 13 locations across the country, Fern delivers over 25 different contracts and has full accreditation with various awarding bodies to deliver nationally recognised qualifications including NVQs in construction, administration and customer service

    Skillspoint arranges training programmes delivered by one of their 400 quality-assured trainers, who will work with employees at all levels in your business to refine existing skills or develop brand new ones, and provide individual coaching or group training

  • High Growth Company Support Programme

    The High Growth Company Support Programme is a new business support programme funded by the East Midlands Development Agency (emda) along with the seven Sub-regional Strategic Partnerships.

    This new scheme will be delivered by Pera and will serve companies that believe they can expand their product range and services but need help overcoming barriers to growth.
